O primeiro tempo foi pouco movimentado no Castelão. O jogo ficou preso no meio-campo e as duas equipes apresentavam pouca criatividade no setor de meio-campo. Na melhor chance do Vitória, Rodrigo Andrade achou Léo Ceará e o atacante mandou para fora.

Já o Moto Club teve a principal oportunidade aos 31 minutos. Ronaldo e Ramon se enrolaram e a bola ficou limpa para Dalmo. O atacante chutou e o goleiro salvou o Leão.

Na etapa final não teve jeito. Aos 27 minutos, Glessinho recebeu de Juninho e cruzou. O goleiro Ronaldo deu rebote e a bola sobrou para o próprio Glessinho estufar as redes, 1 a 0.

Nos acréscimos, quando o Vitória era só pressão, o Moto Club puxou contra-ataque e teve um pênalti a seu favor. Na cobrança, Juninho Arcanjo decretou o triunfo.

Mumbai Police has seized “what appear to be” the belongings of Sreesanth and Jiju Janardhan – both arrested by Delhi Police on spot-fixing allegations – from hotel rooms booked in their names at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. The police has received legal permission to take mirror images of the laptop and also CCTV footage from the hotel to further investigate into the whole scandal.Items seized include laptops, iPads, mobile phones, diaries written in English and “what appears to be” Malayalam, and cricket kits. Himanshu Roy, joint commissioner of police (crime) in Mumbai, said they had reason to believe the items belonged to Sreesanth and Janardhan, and that they will be important clues in the ongoing investigations.Sreesanth’s room was not in the hotel where the Rajasthan Royals team stayed for their match against Mumbai Indians. Sreesanth was reportedly told in Jaipur that he was not playing the match, and only a compact group of 13 or 14 players was to travel. “Yesterday we received information that Sreesanth had independently booked himself into a five-star hotel,” Roy said. “I say independent because this is not where his team stayed.”We worked out that information. Yesterday we searched two rooms, which were issued in the names of Sreesanth and Jiju Janardhan. The search of Sreesanth’s room shows that it was lived in, it was inhabited. We have recovered a laptop, which is here before you, an iPad, a mobile phone, cash, a data card, some diaries which appear to be in the handwriting of Sreesanth – some [in] English, some [in] what appears to be Malayalam. We have also recovered some cricket kit, clothing etc.”The search of the other room shows it was lived in. We have recovered an iPad, a mobile phone and some personal belongings.” Roy didn’t rule out asking for the custody of Sreesanth and Janardhan depending on what their investigations further reveal.Roy said the hotel rooms were booked by Tamarind Tours and Travels. “We have tried to recreate events that led to the booking of this room,” Roy said. “We have reason to believe Sreeanth and Jiju checked into the hotel late in the night on the 13th of this month. We are recreating their movements on the 14th and the 15th.”We are also in the process of obtaining CCTV feed to understand who are the visitors, if any, who visited him when he was staying there. What were his movements? We have obtained the permission to take a mirror image of the laptops and phones, so that we can begin the process of analysing these gadgets to further aid our investigation. We believe seizure is important given the direction in which the spot-fixing investigations are headed.”On May 14 – more than a day before the three cricketers were arrested – police also arrested an alleged bookmaker called Ramesh Vyas from Mumbai’s Kalbadevi area. The items seized there, Roy said, led them to names of bookies who are also being investigated by Delhi Police.Roy said 13 of the 92 mobile phones seized from Vyas’ premises “were used by him to facilitate connecting Indian bookies with bookies in Pakistan via conference call”. Roy said the police has arrested two more bookies – named Praveen Bera and Pankaj Shah (alias Lotus, alias Pappu) – subsequent to that first arrest.”The interrogation of Ramesh Vyas revealed that he was in touch with certain bookies whose names had figured in the current IPL fixing issue,” Roy said. “We followed this lead, and we also found that the same bookies not only figure in calls made by Ramesh Vyas, but his account books also have transactions in them that lead to common bookies.”After we arrested Ramesh Vyas, we recovered his accounts book, which showed names of bookies that the Delhi Police is also investigating. Some of those bookies, it is reported, have been in touch with these players.”Cases have been registered under the Gambling Act and Indian Penal Code sections that pertain to cheating and forgery. All charges are non-bailable, Roy said.

Surrey are set to announce that South Africa’s JP Duminy will replace Graeme Smith’s stand-in Ricky Ponting for the last two months of the Championship season. The way things are going here, they could do with all three of those international batsmen playing together on the final day against a Warwickshire side suddenly sensing a chance of victory.While Ponting – whose current spell in English cricket will conclude towards the end of July – stood firm during a dramatic final session that was completely at odds with what had gone on before, the hosts lost three wickets in the space of six telling deliveries from Boyd Rankin (and 5 for 37 in all) to lurch into real trouble.They had been a seemingly solid 232 for 2 at one stage, still 250 runs away from saving the follow-on, admittedly, but with Ponting and Arun Harinath enjoying each other’s company for the second time in as many matches.But unlike at Derby last week, where the pair added 180, they were parted here after putting together a mere 63 with Harinath slapping a catch to cover. أثنى محمد ثابت صاروخ مدرب عام نادي زد، على روى فيتوريا المدير الفني لمنتخب مصر، موضحًا تفاصيل الجلسة التي جمعته بالجهاز الفني للفريق عقب الصعود للدوري المصري.

وقال محمد ثابت صاروخ في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر القناة الأولى الفضائية: “فيتوريا رجل في غاية الاحترام ويحاول تطوير كرة القدم المصرية بشكل كبير، شعرنا أنه يريد مساعدة الفرق الصاعدة إلى الدوري المصري”.

وأكمل: “فيتوريا لم يبخل علينا بأي معلومة خلال هذا الاجتماع، حاول مساعدتنا بكل الطرق الممكنة وبالنصائح التي وجهها لنا”.

وأردف: “سألنا عن طرق اللعب التي نعتمد عليها في المباريات، وشرح لنا طريقة التدريب التي يعتمد عليها وأنه يقوم بتدريب لمدة ساعة ونصف ويركز على الجوانب التكتيكية أكثر”.

وأكمل مدرب زد: “فيتوريا بالفعل تابع لاعب لدينا في نادي زد وهو حارس المرمى، بعدما قدم مباريات جيدة وحرص على متابعته في أكتر من مناسبة، وانتقد كثيرًا فكرة وجود دوري ناشئين للاعبين أعمارهم السنية تحت 23 عامًا، مثل هؤلاء اللاعبين يجب أن يكون لهم دور مع الفريق الأول”.

تحدث الألماني توني كروس عن تجديد عقده مع ناديه ريال مدريد الإسباني، وكيفية اتخاذه للقرار، وكيف كان طموحه دافعًا وراء ذلك القرار.

وأعلن ريال مدريد في بيان رسمي تجديد عقد لاعب الوسط الألماني كروس حتى يونيو 2024.

عن تجديد عقده مع ريال مدريد قال كروس في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “آس” الإسبانية: “فعلت ذلك لأنني أشعر أنه الشيء الصحيح الذي يجب القيام به، في الواقع، أود أن أهنئ النادي على الطريقة التي أداروا بها كل شيء”.

وأضاف: “لقد أوضحت موقفي بقول الشيء نفسه منذ البداية وبوضوح شديد بأنني لا أريد أن أغادر، لست متأكدًا مما إذا كنت أرغب في اللعب لمدة عام آخر أم لا، لكنني لن أغادر ريال مدريد”.

وأشار: “كان هناك هذا الاحترام، أخذت وقتي وأقول إنني أريد أن أخبر النادي لأنني أردت أن يكون لديهم مستوى معين من التخطيط”.

واسترسل كروس: “ما زلت متحمسًا أشعر أنني بحالة جيدة، وصحتي جيدة، ولدي شعور بأنه لا يزال بإمكاني تقديم شيء للفريق، لم أكن أريد أن أقرر في أكتوبر، لأن الموسم طويل وأحيانًا يمكنك أن ترى نقص الطاقة في نهايته”.

وأكد: “ما زلت أشعر أنني مهم، لطالما قلت إنه من المهم بالنسبة لي أن أنهي مسيرتي على مستوى عالٍ وألا أقيد نفسي لمدة ثلاث سنوات أخرى”.

وبشأن طموحه، شدد: “رؤية الأدوار الإقصائية في الأشهر القليلة الماضية، أود الاستمرار في خوض هذا النوع من المباريات، لا يزال لدي نفس الرغبة التي كانت لدي قبل 15 عامًا للفوز بتلك المباريات والألقاب”.

وأصر: “أنا لست متعبًا على الإطلاق، أنزعج عندما نخسر، من المهم أيضًا أن يكون لديك نفس الشعور، ما زلت أستمتع بكرة القدم، هذا ما أحبه، أنا لست من هؤلاء الأشخاص الذين يمكنهم الذهاب إلى مكان ما واللعب من أجل لا شيء لتحقيق الفوز حيث ألعب في المركز السابع أو الثامن”.

وعن اللحظة المناسبة للتجديد، أفاد: “أخبرت النادي في ذلك الوقت قبل أسابيع من قبول العرض، أنا سعيد بذلك، كان وكلائي في مدريد لحضور اجتماع واحد فقط حول هذا الموضوع، أعتقد أنه استغرق أربع ساعات وتحدثوا عن ذلك لمدة 15 دقيقة فقط، كان الأمر سهلاً كما هو الحال دائمًا مع ريال مدريد”.

وعن إمكانية التجديد لعام آخر في 2024، أوضح: “الآن لا أريد الالتزام بأي شيء، لا أعرف، لماذا علي أن أوقف الرحلة الآن؟ لا يوجد سبب، على الأقل ليس الآن، سنرى كيف يبدأ العام وكيف تسير الأمور، سوف نرى، الآن لن ألتزم بأي شيء”.

With a day remaining the Championship match between Somerset and Durham atTaunton looks to be heading for a draw after the hosts ended the day 28 runsbehind with all second-innings wickets remaining.Replying to Somerset’s first-innings total of 458, the visitors were all outfor 493 which included a century for Mark Stoneman, 70 from both PaulCollingwood and Michael Richardson and half-centuries from Ben Stokes and ScottBorthwick.At the start of the day, resuming on 163 for three off 44.3 overs, still 295runs in arrears, opener Stoneman who was 78 not out overnight went to his secondcentury of the season when he took a single to backward point off the final ballof the 51st over. His century arrived off 160 deliveries and included 16 fours.New batsman Stokes looked untroubled by the Somerset bowlers and pulled Hussainto long-on to bring up the Durham 200.Stoneman had moved onto 122 when Peter Trego bowled a slower delivery which hehit to short cover where Craig Meschede claimed the catch. The fourth-wicketpartnership added 73 runs in just over 20 overs.Stokes went to his half-century in style with a straight six off GeorgeDockrell but seven runs later he was caught at mid-off by Arul Suppiah as helooked to drive left arm spinner Dean Elgar. Collingwood remained at the wicket until he was the last man out for 70,by which time the total had moved onto 493.Batting for a second time 35 runs behind Somerset had moved on to seven withoutloss from the remaining four overs, Marcus Trescothick unbeaten on four and NickCompton two not out.

Rosenberg é só mais um dirigente que busca explicações fantasiosas para disfarçar incompetência – ainda que pontual – das gestões que representam. Marketing negativo também pode ser especialidade no futebol brasileiro.

Ao colocar Jean no segundo tempo do empate com o Mirassol, Luiz Felipe Scolari usou todos os 26 inscritos no Campeonato Paulista. Adepto do rodízio de jogadores desde que reassumiu o Palmeiras, em 2018, o técnico manteve a ideia neste ano, mas os atletas da base ainda aguardam uma chance.

Do elenco principal, Victor Luis é formado no Verdão, mas já está no profissional desde 2014. E se na lista A todos já receberam minutos, aqueles que estão na lista B seguem zerados.

Essa segunda relação não tem limitação de inscritos e permite somente a presença de jogadores da base entre 16 anos e nascidos até 1998, com pelo menos um ano de contrato com o clube. Fazem parte dela: o goleiro Matheus Teixeira, o zagueiro Vitão, o lateral-esquerdo Esteves, o lateral e ponta Luan Cândido, os meio-campistas Gabriel Menino, Patrick de Paula, além dos atacantes Aníbal, Veron e Léo Passos. Yan também faz parte da relação, mas foi emprestado ao Estoril (POR) até maio.

Como poupou a maioria dos titulares da vitória sobre o Junior Barranquilla (COL), Felipão levou um banco mais curto para Mirassol, com nove atletas. Destes, cinco eram da base: Matheus Teixeira, Vitão, Luan Cândido, Esteves e Léo Passos. Raphael Veiga, Carlos Eduardo e Jean, contudo, foram as opções usadas por Scolari durante o segundo tempo do empate.

– Se tivesse mais quatro (inscrições), 30 (atletas à disposição no Paulista), que é o que temos na Libertadores, estaria usando (mais jogadores). Porque quando jogamos na Colômbia, viajamos, chegamos aqui e tenho um dia para colocar em campo e mudar o trabalho. É diferente. Se eu pudesse, faria até mais rodízio – afirmou Luiz Felipe Scolari.

– Hoje (sábado) um zagueiro (Gustavo Gómez) que vai jogar na terça teve de jogar, infelizmente, mas estamos fazendo o que fizemos ano passado, com consciência, os jogadores sabem que vão mudar três, quatro, cinco de jogo para jogo.
