Jhulan Goswami and Archana Das produced inspired spells to make sure the hosts had at least a consolation victory to show for what has been a disappointing home series. Goswami began by bowling Alyssa Healy and Lisa Sthalekar as Australia limped to 22 for 2. Offspinner Das then wound her way through the middle order, first having Rachael Haynes stumped and then removing Alex Blackwell and captain Jodie Fields in the same over.Goswami returned to clean up the tail in spectacular fashion. Ellyse Perry was caught behind off the second ball off the 19th over. Two balls later Goswami bowled Erin Osborne and made it three wickets in four balls by repeating the feat to dismiss Sharon Millanta. Australia were dismantled for 89; Goswami’s figures read 3.5-1-11-5, four of which were bowled. Leah Poulton offered some resistance in making 30 at the top of the order and Blackwell chipped in with 20, but none of the other batsmen made it past 10.India had struggled for runs in the series but opener Amita Sharma made sure there would be no twist in the tale with a measured unbeaten half-century. Sthalekar did manage to pick up two wickets but Australia just didn’t have enough runs on the board to defend and India overhauled their target with plenty of time to spare.

Geoff Lawson, the former Australia fast bowler, has signed a deal with the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) to be a consultant coach for the Under-19 World Cup being held in Australia in August.Lawson will take charge when the team arrives in Australia on July 21, three weeks before the tournament actually begins. In 2007, Lawson had a 15-month coaching stint with Pakistan and a season with the Kochi Tuskers in the IPL last year.”The idea behind Lawson’s appointment was to have an experienced and well-known coach,” ACB’s high performance program manager Bashir Stanikzai said. “That will automatically boost the morale of these young and talented players.””They will share the dressing room with a top-class cricketer and coach. We are sure that with Geoff’s guidance these players will perform better than they did in the last Under-19 World Cup in 2010 (where they won just one match),” he said.

Em partida tensa e sob forte chuva, o duelo entre Figueirense e São Bento acabou antes dos 90 minutos. O árbitro conversou com jogadores e técnicos e optou sobre o término da partida por conta das condições do gramado. Já com a bola rolando, os times fizeram um jogo com muita disposição e de certa maneira tensa, e acabaram empatando por 2 a 2,nesta sexta-feira, pela 27ª rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro da Série B. Os gols do Furacão foram marcados por Elton, duas vezes, e para o Azulão, Francis, também duas vezes, sendo um de bicicleta.

Com o resultado, o Figueira continua na oitava posição, com 39 pontos. O time de Sorocaba caiu para 12ª colocação, com 35 somados, interrompendo a sequência de três vitórias consecutivas.

PRIMEIRO TEMPO
Mesmo com sob forte chuva no início de jogo, o Figueirense e o São Bento não deixaram de buscar o gol. Com isso, a rede teve que balançar para um dos lados, e foi para o elenco sorocabano, aos 12 minutos, com Francis. O jogador recebeu bola cruzada rasteira e somente empurrou a bola para o fundo do barbante.

O jogo parecia está paralelo de acordo com a chuva. No momento em que apertava, um dos times imprimia o ritmo. E foi o Furacão que fez acontecer, logo depois de sofrer o gol. O atacante Eltonrecebeu passe açucarado no meio da área e bateu no canto, sem deixar a bola cair e sem chances para Rodrigo Viana.

A qualidade técnica era comprometida por causa da chuva, mesmo com os dois tentos. Além disso, a tensão era evidente nos olhares dos atletas. O árbitro teve que ser crítico em suas marcações para que não ocorresse um problema maior. Ao final da primeira etapa, o Furacão tentou chegar, enquanto o Azulão se portou de forma desorganizada.

SEGUNDO TEMPO
As bolas alçadas na área continuaram a serem investidas na segunda etapa. Com isso, os alvinegros conseguiram a virada da partida. Em cobrança de escanteio, a bola é desviada para o meio da área, e Elton chega para guardar mais uma.

A partida estava realmente disputada. O São Bento não se entregou e igualou o placar, com Denis.Em cobrança de falta de Zezinho, a bola fica viva na área. O camisa 11 vira em uma linda bicicleta.

Aos 29 minutos, André Santos, que entrou na etapa final, eEwerton Páscoa se desentendem na área antes de cobrança de escanteio. O árbitro teve que conter ambos. Aos 38, na área do Furacão, mais uma vez, confusão com os jogadores. Após isso, o árbitro parou o cronômetro por conta da forte chuva, que estava atrapalhando o andamento da bola no gramado, por conta das poças, e paralisou a partida.

Após mais de 30 minutos, o árbitro conversou com jogadores, comissão técnica dos clubes e administradores do gramado, decidiu encerrar confronto com 38 minutos por conta da forte chuva. Além disso, falou que a integridade física dos jogadores poderia ser comprometida. Com isso, o resultado permanece: 2 a 2.

PRÓXIMOS COMPROMISSOS
O próximo duelo do Figueirense acontece na terça-feira, às 21h30, contra o Londrina, no Estádio Café. O São Bento recebe o Boa Esporte, às 20h30, no Walter Ribeiro.

وأكمل: “صن داونز من الفرق المميزة في قارة إفريقيا وتوج من قبل بلقب دوري الأبطال، ودائمًا ما يكون مرشحًا للمنافسة على البطولة الإفريقية، على الجانب الآخر الأهلي هو الأكثر تتويجًا باللقب وتوج بدوري الأبطال مرتين في آخر ثلاث نسخ للبطولة، ودائمًا ما يكون هدف الفريق هو الوصول إلى أبعد نقطة، وتحقيق الفوز في أي مباراة يخوضها سواء على ملعبه أو خارج أرضه”.

وأكد عطية أن لاعبي الأهلي سيكونون على قدر ثقة وتطلعات الجماهير، من خلال تحقيق نتيجة إيجابية في مباراة صن داونز يوم السبت المقبل.

وتابع: “الأهلي فريق كبير ينافس على بطولة دوري أبطال إفريقيا كل عام، وقادر على تحقيق النتائج التي تساعده في العودة من جديد إلى المسار الطبيعي في النسخة الحالية للبطولة”.

وأضاف عطية أنه منذ وصوله إلى النادي تأقلم سريعًا، بفضل وجود لاعبين كبار يمتلكون رصيدًا من الخبرة، ووجود جهاز فني وعلى رأسه مارسيل كولر، الذي تحدث معه في أول يوم له، لإعطائه الثقة وتحفيزه للمنافسة على التواجد مع الفريق.

وواصل: “دائمًا ما أجهز نفسي بشكل جيد، سواء من خلال الاستشفاء أو التركيز في التدريبات والمباريات، ومحاولة تنفيذ تعليمات الجهاز الفني، واللعب للأهلي شرف كبير لأي لاعب، وأحاول إثبات نفسي من خلال العمل والأداء داخل الملعب وفي التدريبات”.

وأوضح: “قبل انتقالي للأهلي كنت موجودًا في صفوف واحد من أفضل الأندية في الدوري وهو الاتحاد السكندري، الذي يمتلك الشعبية والتاريخ، ولكن على المستوى الشخصي سعيد باللعب للأهلي وارتداء القميص الأحمر، وتمثيل الفريق في البطولات محليًّا وقاريًّا وعالميًّا”.

واختتم مروان عطية تصريحاته بالتأكيد على جاهزية الفريق لمباراة صن داونز، لتحقيق نتيجة إيجابية تساعد الأهلي في تخطي مرحلة المجموعات.

تحدث أمير مرتضى منصور المشرف العام على الكرة في الزمالك، عن مواجهة الفريق القادمة أمام إنبي ببطولة الدوري المصري، مشيرًا إلى إجراء تعديلات في الجهاز المعاون.

ويلتقي الزمالك مع نظيره إنبي، على أرضية استاد القاهرة الدولي، في إطار مواجهات الجولة الـ21 من بطولة الدوري المصري.

وقال أمير في تصريحات تلفزيونية لفضائية “الزمالك”: “الفريق منذ فترة يمر بفترة صعبة بعض الشيء ولكن بعد مباراة الترجي المعنويات ارتفعت”.

وعن تسريب عقود اللاعبين، قال: “أنا متواجد في الزمالك منذ 2018 وأعمل تحت ضغوط، وهذه ليست أول مرة تتسرب فيها العقود، حيث حدث ذلك من قبل مع محمد عواد وشيكابالا وبن شرقي، ولكن هذه المرة الحرب مكثفة، والعقود المسربة غير صحيحة، وهذا ليس سرًا حربيًا”.

وأفاد: “من أكبر 5 ميزانيات في إفريقيا الأهلي والزمالك وبيراميدز، وتسريب العقود الغرض منه التشكيك في إمكانات اللاعبين واستغلال سوء النتائج”.

وأوضح: “هناك أندية في الدوري تدفع أكثر من الأهلي والزمالك، وعقودنا طبيعية ومنطقية، وميزانية الموسم الحالي من أقل الميزانيات”.

حقيقة رحيل أسامة نبيه وفيريرا: “أسمع أشياء ليس لها أي أساس من الصحة، فيريرا عقده لمدة موسم ونصف، ومتمسكون به ولديه رصيد معنا، هو متواجد في منصبه ونحن كمجلس إدارة ندعمه”.

وأردف: “نحن أكثر ناس نعرف قيمة فيريرا ولا نتعامل مع أحد بالقطعة، وسيحدث تدعيم في الجهاز الفني بدل المعاونين الأجانب، ونعمل على هذا الأمر منذ شهرين”.

وقال: “فيريرا لم يشكو من أحد في الجهاز الفني وكل ما يقال غير صحيح”.

 وأتم: “حصدنا الدوري والكأس بـ16 لاعبًا من الكبار و4 لاعبين شباب، وقمنا بتدعيم الفريق بـ10 لاعبين، أسمع تجريح في اللاعبين وفي شخصي، والزمالك كان يجب أن يتم بنائه في ظل رحيل 12 لاعبًا”.

A game that was snoozing along to a tame draw suddenly turned around at 3pm when a plan hatched by the two captains was put into action. Yorkshire handed Gloucestershire two batting points by allowing them 52 runs in 19 balls. They declared, Yorkshire forfeited their first innings, and Gloucestershire batted again for 27.1 painful overs after tea, scoring 48. The public address mocked their progress as they declared again, leaving Yorkshire 400 to win in 110 overs.Jason Gillespie, Yorkshire’s new head coach, has stated on two previous occasions that he will go all out for victory. His side left Essex an achievable fourth-innings target at Headingley in the second match of the season and again here he has been very generous to the opposition.”It’s risk versus reward,” Gillespie said. “The chance to take 16 points to me is an easy decision. I think you have to risk a loss to go for a win. If you play safe cricket first you’ll never win enough games to go up. And I think it’s good for our players to try and play when there’s a bit of pressure on; it’s a test of character. You have to trust your players to do the job and it’s a good for them. We’ll certainly be going for the runs.”The pitch is good, Gloucestershire were 290 for 4 before their collapse of 5 for 9 brought about the contrived situation. “The feedback from the batsman is that there’s a little bit in it but if you stay patient and disciplined, batting gets a little bit easier,” was the expected description of conditions from Gillespie. “We’re confident if we get through the difficult periods we can put a bit of pressure back on Gloucestershire.”That is certainly possible. He isn’t a gambler he says.Part of the deal was that Gloucestershire would get a little dart on the third evening. He removed Richard Coughtrie for a 15-ball duck and Ed Young next ball, both caught at slip, before adding Will Gidman to his 4 for 77.It was a turnaround after the serene progress earlier. Kane Williamson stroked a ball in his gentle manner through the covers to make it three centuries in three first-class matches. He edged Tim Bresnan behind, who then went on to warm up for the first Test by having Ian Cockbain caught at third slip; Alex Gidman caught behind; and bowling Hamish Marshall with a full ball that he dug out but rolled back onto his stumps. Bresnan’s two spells of six and seven overs brought 2 for 11 and 2 for 12.
