Os titulares do Flamengo passaram sem qualquer dificuldade pelo primeiro teste na temporada 2016. Na manhã desta quinta-feira, em Mangaratiba, o Rubro-Negro venceu o Tigres-RJ por 2 a 0, com gols de Emerson Sheik. A equipe armada por Muricy Ramalho teve total controle da partida do início ao fim, tanto é que o adversário sequer incomodou o goleiro Paulo Victor.

Apesar de ser início de temporada, os titulares mostraram boa desenvoltura e, até certo ponto, um bom entrosamento. Durante quase todo o primeiro tempo mantiveram a posse de bola e tentaram criar jogadas de perigo. A maioria saiu pelo lado direito, com os constantes avanços de Rodinei, um dos destaques do jogo-treino. Apesar dos gols, Emerson Sheik não teve participação tão ativa, já que o Flamengo jogou mais pelo lado direito.

Já que a defesa não trabalhou tanto, o goleiro Paulo Victor e os zagueiros Wallace e Juan aproveitaram para orientar bastante os companheiros, principalmente sobre posicionamento. O técnico Muricy Ramalho, calado em quase todo o jogo-treino, já havia pedido para que os atletas tivessem uma organização nas linhas da marcação. Aconteceu em boa parte do tempo.

A atividade foi acompanhada pelo presidente Eduardo Bandeira de Mello e outros dirigentes, como o diretor geral Fred Luz, o vice jurídico Flávio Willeman e o vice de patrimônio Alexandre Wrobel. O diretor executivo de futebol, Rodrigo Caetano, também assistiu ao jogo-treino, mas ao contrário dos demais ele está hospedado junto com a delegação no resort.

Duas curiosidades também marcaram o jogo-treino: o ex-árbitro e atual comentarista de TV Sálvio Espínola foi quem apitou. E foi bem. Além disso, o atacante do Tigres-RJ é um velho conhecido da torcida rubro-negra: Fabiano Oliveira, aquele que o ex-técnico Andrade considerou melhor do que o uruguaio Luis Suárez após uma observação no Uruguai, há dez anos. Cerca de 250 torcedores acompanharam a atividade no resort em Mangaratiba.

No segundo tempo, o Flamengo voltou completamente modificado. Só os reservas foram ao campo. Ao contrário dos titulares, os suplentes não conseguiram manter o ritmo mais envolvente e, embora tenham tido total controle, não criaram tantas oportunidades no gol. As principais saíram dos pés dos três mais avançados: Douglas Baggio, Gabriel e Thiago Santos. Chiquinho apareceu bem pela esquerda e Jajá deu bons passes.

Mesmo após assinar, nesta segunda-feira, uma resolução vetando a realização da Primeira Liga como competição oficial do futebol brasileiro em 2016, o presidente da CBF, o Coronel Antonio Carlos Nunes, disse que nem sequer está inteirado sobre o assunto.

Nunes foi indagado sobre os motivos do veto assim que chegou ao hotel da Conmebol, em Assunção (PAR), onde acontece a reunião do Comitê Executivo da entidade.

– Estou desde ontem (domingo) em São Paulo para a final da Copa São Paulo e vou me inteirar do que está acontecendo – disse Nunes, que emendou:

Sobre a possível decisão dos clubes de jogar mesmo com a posição contrária, Nunes respondeu:

A delegação brasileira chegou com bastante atraso à Conmebol, na reunião que vai tratar sobre a sucessão na entidade, que ficará a cargo do paraguaio Alejandro Domínguez.

According to recent reports, former Newcastle United loan signing Jetro Willems has rejected the offer of a new contract with Eintracht Frankfurt.

The report by the Chronicle Live states that the 26-year-old left-back, who spent a large part of last season on loan at Newcastle, has rejected the offer of a new deal from the Bundesliga side, meaning that he will be free to sign a pre-contract deal with any European club this January.

And, according to the report, the £4.05 million-rated defender would ‘welcome a move’ back to Steve Bruce’s side, with the player’s agent stating: “Jetro felt very comfortable at Newcastle and he said he felt like it was home, so of course he would be happy to go back if the chance came up.

“It is a great club and he had a great time in England. Newcastle were very good after the injury so it is something he would be happy with if the opportunity came up.”

In his time at Newcastle, the Netherlands international highly impressed, scoring two goals and providing three assists over his 20 appearances for the club.

However, the 26-year-old then ruptured his cruciate ligament, an injury which has resulted in the defender not playing a game since his last appearance for Newcastle back in January this year.

Transfer Tavern Take

While Willems did undeniably impress during his spell in Newcastle, the fact that the club spent £14.85 million on bringing Jamal Lewis in over the summer transfer window could mean that the Magpies are no longer in need of another player at left-back.

Having said this, the fact that Willems would be available on a free transfer could mean that a deal that is too good for Newcastle to refuse Fans of the club may now face an anxious wait to see whether or not their side do indeed make move for the 26-year-old in January.

كشف أسامة نبيه المدرب المساعد السابق بالجهاز الفني لفريق الكرة الأول بنادي الزمالك، كواليس موقف اعتذاره عن منصبه ببيان عبر حسابه بموقع “فيس بوك”، كما انتقد عدم وجود مدرب عام بالجهاز الفني للأبيض خلال الوقت الراهن.

وقال نبيه في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر فضائية “أون تايم سبورتس2″، ببرنامج “الدرجة التالتة”: “(أدمن) صفحتي الشخصية سبقني في التقدم بالاعتذار بساعة كاملة”.

وأضاف: “كنت أتحدث معه وأنا في طريقي إلى جلستي مع اللجنة الإدارية، وقلت له إنني ذاهب من أجل الاعتذار عن مهمتي، كنت أحيطه علمًا بما سيحدث حتى يجهز البيان، ولكني ذهبت للاجتماع فوجدته تأجل لمدة ساعة ونصف عن موعده، فشعرت بالاستياء ورحلت، دون أن أجتمع من الأساس”.

وتابع: “وبعد ذلك تقدمت باعتذار عما نشر، وذهبت إلى اللجنة وأوضحت الأمر، كما أنه لم يجمعني إلا موقفين بلجنة حسين لبيب، الأول هو موقف الاعتذار، والموقف الثاني عندما أتوا لتحفيز اللاعبين قبل مباريات نهاية الدوري”.

واستطرد: “كنا في اجتماع مع اللجنة وقال أحد الأعضاء إنه سيتم رصد مكافأة للفريق حال الفوز بآخر 5 مباريات في الدوري، فرد أحد أعضاء اللجنة أن تكون للاعبين فقط، فاندهشنا جميعًا كجهاز فني وإداري وطبي، وهذا أحد المواقف التي أزعجتني ولكن لم أتحدث فيها”.

وكشف: “حصلت على كافة مستحقاتي باستثناء مكافأة الفوز بالدوري، لم يحصل عليها أحد في النادي سواء بالجهاز أو اللاعبين باستثناء كارتيرون فقط”.

واستطرد: “لم يستطلع أحد رأينا بشأن عودة حمدي النقاز، ولم نكن في حاجة إليه”.

وتابع: “لا يليق أن يكون نادي الزمالك بلا مدرب عام أو مدرب مساعد، وتلك أزمة اللجنة الإدارية، وأعتقد أنها رغبة كارتيرون، و(طلباته أوامر) في الفترة الأخيرة، ما يطلبه يُنفَذ”.

وأتم: “بغض النظر كارتيرون يريد مساعد أو لا، يجب أن يعد الزمالك كوادر عن طريق تعيين مدرب مساعد، ماذا سيحدث لو أصبحنا غدًا ووجدنا كارتيرون مريضًا أو مصابًا بفيروس كورونا، من سيدير فريق الزمالك فنيًا؟”.

Said Benrahma has left David Moyes powerless to omit the Algerian forward after the Brentford loanee excelled in West Ham United’s victory over Leeds on Friday night.

Moyes opted to hand Benrahma his first start in claret and blue following a late injury to Arthur Masuaku, which forced West Ham to deviate from the five-man defence which has inspired their solid form this season.

Benrahma had featured for just 78 minutes of Premier League football before the Hammers took to the pitch at Elland Road, as Moyes struggled to see a reason to bench his favoured attackers Pablo Fornals or Jarrod Bowen, believing the pair were playing “really well”.

In the end, Masuaku’s injury and a move to a four-man defence allowed Moyes to introduce Benrahma to his starting plans in behind striker Sebastien Haller to provide an added level of creativity beside Fornals and Bowen.

Benrahma upstaged his more established teammate Fornals with a game-changing display as the Hammers clinched a 2-1 win to move up to fifth in the table, with more points beside their name after the opening 12 games than early high-flyers Everton and title-hopefuls Manchester City.

Former Irons defender Anton Ferdinand was among the hordes to applaud the 25-year-old for his performance, seemingly confident that only good things can come from the £5million loan signing who West Ham are obliged to buy for £20m next year.

“Benrahma looks like he could be a maverick for us,” Ferdinand shared in a post on Twitter. “Loves the ball at his feet, very comfy and loves to make things happen!”

VAR stole the show at Elland Road when Mateusz Klich was allowed to retake his penalty after Lukasz Fabianski was deemed to have been off his line whilst making the initial save, but Benrahma’s performance ensured a spotlight focused on him as well.

The six-time Algeria international may not have registered a third assist of the season to pair with his game-winning involvement in goals against Fulham or Aston Villa, and may still be without a maiden goal for West Ham, yet achieved what Moyes tasked him with being. West Ham often found themselves without possession while Benrahma was on the field, as Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites controlled 65.7% of the ball before Moyes opted to introduce Mark Noble six minutes from time to instil an added defensive presence in the engine room.

Yet Benrahma still recorded the joint-second-most touches by a visiting player with 45, only Aaron Cresswell (52) took more, and played one key ball from 15 accurate passes, per WhoScored.

Benrahma came into his own when with an eye for goal, as he unleashed a game-high six efforts on Illan Meslier’s net, though only forcing the Leeds’ shot-stopper into making a save once.

Only Bowen could match his 100% dribble success rate, too, among any Irons player to feature, with Benrahma able to beat his marker with each of his three attempts as the £23,077-per-week forward won five of nine ground duels, per SofaScore.

Moyes will no doubt like to see Benrahma fine-tune his shooting, but is now powerless to omit the 25-year-old from his starting plans after seeing what he can bring to the side having bided his time for a chance to shine.

– Escolhi vir para o Red Bull Brasil por saber da excelente estrutura que o clube possui e, principalmente, por acreditar que aqui é o lugar ideal para eu mostrar todo meu potencial. Tive um excelente primeiro semestre em 2015 com a camisa do Madureira e ganhei visibilidade por aquele trabalho. Sei que os frutos serão ainda maiores caso eu consiga ter o mesmo desempenho aqui. Treinando com os novos companheiros desde a última semana, Galhardo participou do jogo-treino contra o Santos e ficou feliz com o que viu, apesar da derrota na atividade por 3 a 2. Para ele, o time tem condições de surpreender já na estreia do Paulistão, quando enfrentará o São Paulo, dia 30, no Moisés Lucarelli.

Glasgow Rangers will want to avenge their loss to St. Mirren in the Betfred Cup when they travel to Paisley to take on the Saints in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday afternoon.

Steven Gerrard will be well aware that it won’t be a walk in the park for the 54-time Scottish champions, having borne witness to a humiliating last-gasp defeat at the hands of Jim Goodwin’s side earlier this month.

Besides that humbling defeat, Rangers have been in scintillating form since the start of the season, with 18 wins, two draws and no defeats in the top flight. But with games coming thick and fast this month and next – they play Celtic three days after facing the Saints – Gerrard will want to rotate his squad in the midst of a busy schedule.

With that in mind, Gerrard may decide to bring Calvin Bassey back into the fold to face the Saints at St. Mirren Park.

The 20-year-old has featured seven times in the Premiership this season, but has only started on three occasions so far, with his last appearance coming by way of the fateful quarter-final against St. Mirren in the Scottish League Cup.

He has been left as an unused substitute on the bench for the past three games in the top flight, with 28-year-old defender Borna Barisic preferred in his place instead.

Gerrard’s undisputed first-choice left-back put in an immense shift against Hibernian, but if the Ibrox boss does decide to give Barisic a break, then Bassey surely must be his first port of call to replace the Croatian on the left side.

Equally capable of playing at centre-back or full-back, the Englishman, who turns 21 in a matter of days, could cause Goodwin’s side all sorts of problems bombing up and down the flanks with his bursts of pace and pinging crosses into the box.

Gerrard has been effusive in his praise for the Leicester City academy product, telling reporters after the Europa League game against Standard Liege:

“I thought Calvin was outstanding. For someone who has very little experience, to come into a game as big as that and at that level and perform the way he did made us very proud.

“He’s a fantastic kid, a kid who wants to learn, who wants grow and evolve and with team we’re really confident we can help polish him up and get him to become even better than he is.

“He’s got real interesting attributes right now and he showed them on Thursday night, which was fantastic to see.”

In seven appearances in the Premiership this season, Bassey is averaging 1.7 tackles and one interception per game, via WhoScored.

It’s fair to say that the youngster has turned out to be an absolute gem ever since he arrived at Ibrox in the summer. He bagged his first goal for the club against Falkirk in the Betfred Cup and his endurance and durability could be key for the Gers keeping another clean sheet if he is selected.

وكان رابطة الأندية قد قررت منع 349 مُشجعًا للنادي الأهلي من حضور مباراتين متتاليتين في الدوري المصري، بسبب الغناء والهتاف أثناء عزف السلام الوطني خلال مباراة المادر الأحمر أمام غزل المحلة في الجولة الخامسة بالدوري.

وقال ميدو خلال تصريحات عبر برنامج “الريمونتادا” على قناة “المحور”: “قرار رابطة الأندية المحترفة كان مميزاً بشأن التدخل وإيقاف بعض المشجعين بسبب التجاوز أثناء ترديد النشيد الوطني”.

وأضاف: “العقوبات جاءت محترمة لأنها لم تعمم على الجميع بل من تجاوز فقط”.

Muitos não sabem, mas o atacante Douglas Coutinho já serviu as categorias de base do Cruzeiro entre 2008 e 2010. O desempenho na Toca da Raposa, no entanto, não foi o esperado e o atacante precisou se transferir para o Atlético-PR para mostrar seu futebol. Hoje, de volta ao clube mineiro, o atacante alimenta o sonho antigo de jogar no Mineirão, mas dessa vez com a camisa estrelada.

– Estou bastante ansioso. Será um sonho realizado. A felicidade de voltar para cá no elenco principal é muito. Estou ansioso. Se tiver oportunidade de entrar, darei meu máximo para agradar a torcida. É uma emoção muito grande para mim, será meu primeiro jogo no Mineirão com a torcida. Todos estão ansiosos para voltar a jogar em casa – disse.

Douglas Coutinho despontou no Atlético-PR ainda na temporada de 2014. No ano passado, o jogador não conseguiu manter as boas atuações e foi negociado por empréstimo ao Cruzeiro. No time celeste, a tarefa do jogador será encontrar uma vaga no concorrido setor ofensivo.

– Para mim é muito importante, porque no ano passado as lesões me prejudicaram bastante. É uma reviravolta na minha vida. O clube acreditou em mim, tenho de dar meu máximo para retribuir. Além de sonho, é objetivo ganhar. Sempre sonho alto, meu sonho é sempre grande. Independentemente do que acontecer no campeonato, eu darei meu máximo para dar alegria a todo mundo e conquistar meus objetivos – acrescentou.

A primeira oportunidade para Coutinho jogar no Mineirão será já neste final de semana. No domingo, o Cruzeiro recebe a URT, na partida que marca a estreia da equipe no campeonato estadual.
