It is shaping up to be a busy summer down on the south coast for Bournemouth, with the club having already signed Lloyd Kelly to strengthen their defence. 

The 20-year-old, however, is unlikely to be joined by Celtic’s Olivier Ntcham after the Cherries reportedly rejected the chance to bring him to the Vitality Stadium.

According to the Daily Mail, Celtic were interested in doing a deal for Lys Mousset that would have seen Ntcham head in the other direction. But with Bournemouth having seemingly turned the proposition down, it looks like it is going to take cash and cash only for them to part ways with their French striker.

Surely, though, the Premier League outfit have missed a trick here by rebuffing Celtic? Mousset has simply not worked out for them since arriving from Le Havre, while Ntcham has been brilliant for the Scottish giants.

In the middle of the park, Ntcham has brought a real combative presence to this Celtic side, making tackles and muscling his opponents off of the ball.

Alongside Jefferson Lerma, the Frenchman could have helped form some midfield partnership, with both destructive midfielders also capable of advancing play.

Ultimately, given Mousset’s failures, it really seemed like a no-brainer. Perhaps Eddie Howe is content with his current options for the engine room, or maybe the club want to recoup back all the money they spent on the former Le Havre man and more?

Whatever the case, it feels like an opportunity missed for Bournemouth if Ntcham really was on the table.

ونشر إسماعيل يوسف “تيجانا”، تغريدة عبر حسابه الرسمي على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي “تويتر”، قال فيها: “الرحيل من إداره نادي الزمالك لا يعني التخلي عن الكيان الذي صنع اسم كل مرتبط به، حان الوقت لانضمامي لصفوف المشجعين”.

وتابع: “بذلت كل ما أملك من جهد لإسعاد جمهور الزمالك ونجحنا كإدارة في بناء فريق كبير وعلى الجمهور العظيم مساندة الفريق.. شكرا مرتضى، امير، أعضاء المجلس”.

Leeds United fans on Twitter are excited about the prospect of signing Ryan Kent from Liverpool after the winger was linked to the club by the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The wide man has spent the last 12 months out on loan at Rangers, where he was brilliant for the Scottish giants.

The 22-year-old scored six times and set up two goals in the league last season, and that form has seen him garner interest from the Championship.

This wouldn’t be Kent’s first venture to a Yorkshire club as he has previously spent a term out on loan at Barnsley.

During his spell at Oakwell he only scored three times and created one assist, which isn’t a great record, but his performances in the SPFL have given Leeds fans reason to be excited about his arrival.

It remains to be seen whether or not Marcelo Bielsa’s side will sign Kent, but if he does join the Whites it certainly seems he will be a very popular signing.

لامبارد مع تشيلسي في الشهر الماضي، خاض ثلاث مُباريات، فاز في اثنين وتعادل في واحدة وسجّل هجوم البلوز ستة أهداف، بينما مورينيو خاض مع السبيرز 4 لقاءات فاز في واحدة وتعادل في أخرى ولم يُهزم في أي مباراة.

فيما وست هام مع ديفيد مويس، خاض 3 مُباريات وفاز في الثلاث لقاءات، بينما اليونايتد مع سولشاير، خاض أربع لقاءات وفاز في ثلاث وخسر في واحدة.

شدد المدرب الألماني، يورجن كلوب، المدير الفني لنادي ليفربول، على صعوبة مباراة مانشستر يونايتد في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.

ليفربول يستقبل مانشستر يونايتد، مساء الأحد، على ملعب “آنفيلد”، ضمن لقاءات الجولة التاسعة عشر من البريميرليج.

ليفربول يدخل المباراة وهو يتواجد في المركز الثاني، حيث يملك حامل اللقب 33 نقطة، بينما مانشستر يونايتد الذي لم يفز باللقب مُنذ أكثر من سبع سنوات يتواجد في المركز الأول برصيد 36 نقطة.

وقال كلوب في تصريحات خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الخاص بالمباراة: “يجب علينا أنّ نركز تمامًا على هذه المباراة، بالتأكيد الفوز لن يحسم اللقب، ولكنها مباراة هامة، سنركز بكل قوتنا كما نفعل دائمًا”.

وأضاف: “الفوز على مانشستر يونايتد، سيكون إنجازًا بحد ذاته، ليس فقط لأنهم مُتصدرين، ولكن بسبب الوضع الذي هم فيه الآن، إنهم يستحقون النقاط التي حصلوا عليها، لكن لا يزال هُناك طريق طويل لنقطعه في الموسم، وعلينا ألا ننسى أنّ مانشستر سيتي ليس ببعيد عن الركب”.

وعن سلسلة اللاهزيمة في آنفيلد: “لست فخورًا بذلك لأنني لا أفكر به كثيرًا، رقم جيد لكن من يهتَم به إذا لم تفُز بالمباراة القادمة، كل شيء جيد حتى الآن ونستمر بالتقدم والتحسن”.

According to journalist Courtney Friday, the Whites are interested in bringing 21-year-old Ovie Ejaria to Yorkshire this summer and have joined the race for his signature. However, it is believed that Reading are still the most likely destination as it stands.

Millwall bid for Leeds target

Millwall have made a bid for Leeds target Jamal Lowe according to londonnewsonline.com. The Portsmouth striker scored 17 goals in all competitions for League One side last term, and Pompey reportedly value the 24-year-old at £3m.

Grot could leave on loan

Both Vitesse Arnhem and Hearts of Midlothian are interested in signing Dutch striker Jay-Roy Grot according to the Yorkshire Post. Any deal is expected to be a loan one, which would be Grot’s second since joining Leeds from NEC Nijmegen in 2017.

It has been four days since Maurizio Sarri left Chelsea for Juventus and, while every expectation is that Frank Lampard will be the man to take over, it all feels a bit slow.

Of course, a lot could be happening in the background without anyone really knowing. But according to The Telegraph, with the west London club unable to operate in the transfer window, it has removed the need to rush into appointing their legendary midfielder.

Still, with just a reported £4m compensation fee needed to be paid to Derby County for their manager, it feels like things are being drawn-out — and that is the last thing either club need.

Last year, Chelsea did not have the best of pre-seasons with Sarri coming in so late, something the Italian himself commented on.

“Our pre-season until now has been a bit crazy I think and so we have to work,” the new Juventus boss was quoted as saying by the Evening Standard last August. Undoubtedly, that is something Chelsea will want to avoid this time around.

Meanwhile, from Derby’s perspective, they will be keen to get this whole ordeal over with so they can quickly manoeuvre in the transfer market as they prepare for another battle for Premier League promotion.

For the sake of both clubs, it is time for Chelsea to hurry up and wrap up a deal to bring Lampard back to Stamford Bridge if that is what his heart is set on.

وقال نونو سانتو، في تصريحات نشرتها شبكة “بي بي سي” العالمية: “كانت ليلة صعبة بكل تأكيد، كان في إمكاننا فعل الكثير من الأشياء المختلفة، قبل المباراة وأثنائها”.

وأضاف: “سنحاول إيجاد اتفاق بين رغباتهما وتطلباتهما، وتوقعاتنا في نفس الوقت، ولكن ليس علينا أن نتوسل إليهما، لن نرجوهما بأن يستمرا”.

وشدد: “أولئك الذين يريدون البقاء حقًا سيبقون، نتحدث بانتظام ولدي مشاعر طيبة بشأن نيمار ومبابي، لكن لن نجبر أحد على البقاء، ولن نتوسل لأحد”.

وعن احتمالية التعاقد مع ليونيل ميسي، قال: “ميسي سيظل دائمًا على قائمة باريس سان جيرمان، مثل أي لاعب رائع في العالم يبقى على قائمتنا دائمًا”.

With Matt Clarke to Brighton now a done deal, Portsmouth’s attention now turns to signing his successor.

The 22-year-old defender leaves a gaping hole in the Pompey defence that will need to be filled this summer, and with a reported £3.5 million received for Clarke via the Argus, Kenny Jackett won’t be short of cash to spend on a suitable replacement, and an interesting name has already popped up.

According to journalist Alan Nixon, Portsmouth are keen on Blackpool defender Curtis Tilt but face a financial barrier for the centre-back’s signature in terms of sorting out a transfer fee with the Seasiders as well as finalising personal demands for the 27-year-old, but these obstacles could be worth knocking down for Pompey.

Tilt was a standout performer for Terry McPhillips’ side last season, playing in 42 games for Blackpool and notching up a decent four goals and three assists for the League One club, and given his impressive form with the former Premier League side last campaign, the centre-back could be a solid replacement for Clarke.

As well as being an experienced pro and five years older than Clarke, Tilt’s physicality and imposing presence in defence — with sports writer Tim Nash describing him as a centre-back with sheer size and strength (via North Wales Live) — is something the now Brighton defender missed greatly in his game.

Standing three inches taller than Clarke, Tilt’s height and impressive goalscoring record will add another layer to Portsmouth’s defence, and with £3.5 million to spend on finding a replacement, Pompey can’t get much better than the Blackpool man.
